2017:

  • October 21, 9am-noon, at the Ferry Street Growers Market, 330 Ferry St. in Danville, PA.
  • October 20, 7-10pm at Chef’s Listening Room, 414 W. 4th St., Williamsport. Tickets are $16 or $28 per couple advance at www.ticketor.com/lavenderblue or $18 at the door, but include local food made by the chef. BYOB. This was a sweet night; I hope to get back there to hear others play.
  • October 14, 12-1, at the Greenwood Friends School Fall Festival. Enabled ably by Jeremy and Audra.
  • October 8, 1-2pm, at the CREATE event, Kocher Park, Lightstreet, PA. With Jeremy and Audra dePrisco, Mike Hickey, and Safa Saracoglu, all on a flatbed trailer. Great fun.
  • August 26, 1-2pm, at Bloomsburg’s ArtFest, in the center of town, with assistance from Audra & Jeremy dePrisco of Fricknadorable.  Good music all day!
  • August 25, 6:30-8pm, for the first anniversary celebration for A Soulful Space on Front Street in Berwick, with Jeremy dePrisco playing bass. A rare sitting gig!
  • August 19, 9am-noon, at the Ferry Street Growers Market, 330 Ferry St. in Danville, PA.
  • August 3, at 6:30pm, at Kocher Park, just north of Lightstreet, PA, on route 487. This is the August reading of the River Poets. Oren Helbok talks about years chasing trains, then I play about 20 minutes, then a break and open reading.

(here we have a year-long hiatus as we spent a sabbatical year in Bolivia, Argentina, and Peru)

  • July 2, 9am-noon, at the Ferry Street Growers Market, 330 Ferry St. in Danville, PA.
  • June 4, 8pm to 8:45 or so, 4 E. Third St. in Bloomsburg. I’m the opening act for the one-man play Drunk Lion. It’s pay-what-you-wish, outdoors, so bring a seat or a blanket. (Actually, we got rained out and moved it to the Alvina Krause Theatre. A treat, it was, to play solo on the AKT stage.)
  • June 4, 9-11:30am, Fish & Fun at Kocher Park, Lightstreet, PA, with Safa Saracoglu on percussion.
  • May 27, 8-10pm at Filet 18 on Main St. in Bloomsburg.
  • May 14, 10am-12:30pm. Forks Farm , about ten minutes north of Bloomsburg. Great for local produce, meat, dairy, and more.
  • April 30, 12:30-1:30pm at the Bloomsburg Maker Faire at the Children’s Museum. $5 for the whole-day event. I’m playing under the “Pepperhead Studios Presents” banner, as part of the growing (and impressive) group of musicians who have recorded with Jeremy dePrisco at Pepperhead.
  • April 22, 7-8pm at the King Street Coffeehouse in Northumberland, PA. This one costs $10 for this listening room; I’m followed by Rich Ahearn and Strawberry Ridge.
  • April 16: The annual Greenwood Friends School Local Makers Auction, at the Caldwell Consistory in downtown Bloomsburg, 6-10pm. Jeremy and Audra dePrisco play first, I’m on around 7, and Raven Creek is the headliner. This is a great fundraiser for Greenwood, where our kids go to school. Tickets are $35, but that includes enough great finger food to make a meal, and dessert, and beer and wine, and lots of great people to hang out with.
  • March 17, 6:30-8:30pm at Fog and Flame Coffeehouse at 34 East Main St. in Bloomsburg. Free admission.

2015:

  • December 5, 8-10pm at Filet 18 on Main St. in Bloomsburg. With Jeremy dePrisco on bass! Audra dePrisco singing! Safa Saracoglu percussing!
  • November 28, 9-11pm. At Martini’s Cafe/Bar at 106 N. Susquehanna Ave in Shickshinny. Smoky solo show.
  • November 28, 11:30am-12:30pm. Treefest, a great community fundraiser put on by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, at the Caldwell Consistory on Market Street in Bloomsburg. $6 for adults, 12 and under free.
  • October 15, 8-10pm at Filet 18 on Main St. in Bloomsburg. With Jeremy dePrisco on bass! Audra dePrisco singing! Safa Saracoglu on occasional percussion! Luke Saracoglu singing Little Birds and Chimpanzees!

  • October 2, 6-7:30pm, completely unplugged, at the Antler, 24 East Main Street, Bloomsburg. It’s part of the First Friday Art & Music Crawl .
  • September 26, in the afternoon – Canoe and Brew! – music at the Berwick Brewing Company at the end of a paddle from Shickshinny.
  • August 16, 1pm, at the Democratic Party picnic at Columbia Park, Lime Ridge, PA
  • August 6, 6pm. 20 to 30 minutes of music as part of the River Poets We Love Kocher Park gathering at, you guessed it, Kocher Park on PA 487 just north of Lightstreet, PA. Free, donations for Kocher Park appreciated but not required.

  • May 8, 8-10pm at the Booth Theater, 116 Mill St. in Danville, PA. Cover charge $10, snacks provided, BYOB.
  • April 18, 6pm-10pm (exact time TBD) at the Greenwood Friends School Auction at the Caldwell Consistory, just north of the fountain in the middle of Bloomsburg. Tickets are $35 per person ( but you can get four for the price of three) for great food, drink, spirits, entertainment, and lots of great items on auction to benefit Greenwood Friends School (where Anna and Zeke go).
  • April 18, 11am-1pm at the Bloomsburg Children’s Museum, 2 W. 7th St, Bloomsburg. Regular museum admission is $6.50 for non-members. As you may imagine, this is a more kid-centric show than usual.
  • April 17, 7-8pm at the King Street Coffeehouse in Northumberland, PA followed by Rich Ahearn (8-9pm) and the Ridge & Valley String Band (9-10pm). $7 admission.
  • March 11, 5-6:30pm at the ArtWalk-In at the Caldwell Consistory, Market Street just north of the fountain in Bloomsburg. Free! Come see some art! Hear some music!
  • February 20, 6-8pm at Fog and Flame Coffeehouse at 34 East Main St. in Bloomsburg. Free admission.

2014:

  • December 6, noon to 2pm, at Brews n Bytes, a great little vegetarian restaurant at 20 Lower Mulberry Street, Danville. No cover, but eat some food! I’ts good! (Reservations might be a good idea: 570 275 8666.) With Mike Hickey on 3 guitars, mandolin, autoharp, Anna & Zeke on trombone, violin, and singing.
  • December 5, 7:30-8:30pm. Treefest, a great community fundraiser put on by the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, at the Caldwell Consistory on Market Street in Bloomsburg. $6 for adults, 12 and under free. Solo, with Anna/Zeke singing just a little, and Zeke teaching the lights/fan/dog/tree dance.
  • November 25, 3-5pm. The Forks Farm pre-Thanksgiving Market, about ten minutes north of Bloomsburg. With a little Anna/Zeke help (and some cold fingers).
  • November 22, 6-8pm. World Famous in Bloomsburg CD release party at the Antler, 24 East Main Street, Bloomsburg. CDs on sale for $10, live performance of the whole album and a few older songs. With Jeremy and Audra dePrisco, Anna and Zeke Weber-Loomis, Erin Dietrick, Randy Moyer, Safa Saracoglu, and John Huckans (all who sang or played bass or violin or percussion or tuba or trombone on the album). No cover charge.
  • October 25, 12:30-2pm, at Forks Farm Market, about ten minutes north of Bloomsburg, in/near Forks, PA.
  • October 25, 10am-noon. At the Camp Lavigne Wine Festival, north of Benton, PA.

And that takes us back to when this site went up. There were tons more, stretching all the way back to 1996.
